Hello there!  My name is Alia Hackbarth, and I am 18 years old.  I started working as a 'handy woman' for Larry Turner in November.  During the first few weeks I cleaned the kennels, swept and mopped the floors, walked and fed the dogs, and organized paper work.  In between my jobs I would watch Larry train.  After a while, he started giving me lessons on leash handling and let me work with his dogs.  Eventually, I was given a few  dogs to do follow-up workouts. By the end of the month I was working full time as his apprentice trainer.  I love working here! 

I plan to attend the National K-9 School For Dog Trainers in the fall and become a certified trainer.  I will then continue to work with Larry here at his learning center.  I also adopted a puppy in January to take to school with me.  His name is Trey, and he is a 4 month old Pit Bull mix.  Larry and I have only done a couple sessions with him and he already sits, downs, heels, comes, and places.  So come on down to the the learning center to see Trey and I, and check the place out!

Alia left this world in a tragic auto accident on her way to work.  Her love for animals and her work here will be carried on in her memory.  We love her and miss her very much.  She will never be forgotten.
